Trainstop Club
The Trainstop Club is an exclusive, invite-only training program designed to prepare players for the Talent League, State League, and ultimately the AFL and AFLW. The program is run by experts with experience working with Talent League and AFL (coaches, recruiters, and strength and conditioning experts), and we operate exactly like an AFL and AFLW club does during pre-season.
The overarching goal of our program is to help players reach their aspirations. We are selective because we want to work with ambitious players who are ready to put in the effort to achieve their goals. Over the years, we’ve helped hundreds of athletes progress to the AFL, VFL, Talent League, and Interleague, and we believe if you have the right combination of ambition and ability you can asbolutely achieve your goals.

Lachie Monteath (VFL)
Lachie joined Trainstop Club in the 2022/23 pre-season, arriving with a 9:30 2km time trial (well behind the pack) but impressive size, athleticism, and attitude. With an athletics background and little endurance training, he committed to the program, improved his ruck craft, and not only made the Eastern Ranges but played every game as their #1 ruck, including the grand final. After missing out on the draft, he worked on his versatility and now stands out as one of the most exciting young VFL players, with agents lining up to sign him.

Campbell Rooks (Vic Metro)
Campbell joined Trainstop Club in 2024 at 15, coming off a tough year with concussion but immediately showing leadership and a hunger to improve. He trained relentlessly, thrived against older, bigger players, and quickly became comfortable in the spotlight through media sessions and features on our socials. After a standout pre-season, he made the Vic Metro U16s (named best in 2 of 3 games), the Northern Knights U16s, debuted in the Knights U18s as a 16-year-old, and dominated Division 1 YJFL for Heidelberg.

Iz Teoh (Vic Metro)
Iz joined Trainstop Club in 2023 as a 14-year-old with great running ability and a fierce competitive streak, but needed to develop her ball use and contested craft. After rarely missing a session and often asking for extras, even in the rain, Iz has had a breakout year, earning selection in the AFLW Multicultural Academy, playing Oakleigh Chargers U18s and U16s (named in the best every game), making APS firsts as a Year 10, and Vic Metro U16s. Her rapid progress reflects two tough, focused off-seasons and relentless drive.
